This was not a personal goal for Zion at the beginning of the season but after games a number of opposing coach took the time to come over say some very inspiring things about his game. Those moments made him play with even more confidence. After that, I think it became a goal he set his eyes on. Congrats Zion!!! Next chapter loading!!!!!

Today marked a bitter sweet moment for me. I have had the privilege of coaching 9 Seniors at some point of there basketball jorney on the Dickinson and Clear lake rosters. Today both teams lost against 2 very good teams. And I certainly will miss watching them play in highschool. 6A Texas basketball is tough!!

Some of boys will play in college and some will focus on the next chapter of their life. But they all have played their last highschool basketball game so the emotions were high.

But I am certain they will do great things in the future and I look forward to watching them grow into produtive young men. You guys know who you are. Go be great and continue to write your own stories!!

Zion shot 41.1% from 3 this season, Efficient scorer, Great decision maker, Elite level Shooter, reaction time and game IQ. Lead his team in points scored, assists, and steals at Clear Brook High School this year. We are so proud of him and his journey. He’s been a Clutch City King since day one.
