They were granted a charter by the state of Texas in 1976 for a non-profit organization with tax exempt status. AYLAA is dedicated to supporting youth in the area. Approximately 850 youth benefit from activities held at AYLAA each year. An average of 350 youth participate in the Summer Series rodeo events. Five area 4-H groups consisting of 200 members hold their monthly meetings and other related

activities in the main building and the arena. Complete in Him Ministries which is a Fellowship of Christian Athletes organization hold church services every Sunday. Complete in Him Ministries also hosts several fundraisers for non profit organizations. The youth softball and baseball associations uses the practice field with backstops for practices. The Alvin FFA Booster Club and the AYLAA co-sponsor two youth rodeo to raise funds for the Alvin FFA chapter and the AYLAA. Approximately 250 families from all over Texas come to Alvin to participate in the youth rodeos held throughout the year. The AYLAA hosts the annual AYLAA Summer Series held for 6 weeks on Mondays and Tuesdays nights in the summer. AYLAA awards at least four $500 scholarships to Alvin area youth.

Tonight's speed rodeo is RAINED OUT. We will make it up next Sunday August 18th.

We are dry as of 10 am. Tonights speed make up rodeo (august 11) is still on. Exhibitions start at 4 and lead line at 6.
