Last week, 10 students from Western Beaver High School got an inside look at manufacturing in action!

Thanks to our partner USG, students toured their facility and learned firsthand how drywall is made from start to finish. They came prepared with great questions and left with a deeper understanding of what a career in manufacturing can look like.

Through TCP, students gain access to real workplaces and real opportunities that prepare them for life after graduation. Tours like this one bring that mission to life.

As proud partners with Coen Markets, we brought together students from four local Career and Technical Centers for a hands-on culinary cookoff challenge. Students competed, collaborated, and created real dishes using real industry ingredients under real pressure.

This is the type of engaging, industry-connected experience we build alongside our business partners. When businesses and schools work together, students gain the real-world skills they need to enter the workforce with confidence.

Connecting students with the businesses and industries they will one day be a part of is what we do at TCP. Thank you to Coen Markets for being an incredible partner in making moments like this possible!

Financial literacy is one of the most important skills we can give a student, and this year we did just that!

Through our Race to Financial Fitness, students across our partner schools took part in an interactive, hands-on workforce activity where they moved through stations with their local banking partners, learning essential financial literacy skills, including credit vs. debit, how to write a check, net vs. gross pay, taxes, and so much more. This year, we brought this experience to schools throughout our network and reached over 1,000 students!

The school year may be winding down, but we are not slowing down!

United School District students spent the day at Seward Power Plant, getting a firsthand look at the energy industry. From meeting the team to touring the plant and sharing a meal together, it was a great day of real-world learning.
