VOLUNTEER, DONATE, SHARE and ATTEND. EVERYONE CAN HELP IN SOME WAY.
VOLUNTEERS needed for:
BEFORE THE CARNIVAL:
• Deliver flyers two weeks before the carnival.
• Donations: raffle items, money and unopened bags of candy and treats for treat bags. Candy can be dropped off at the Alvadore Store or at 27194 - 8th Street (last house on the left) by Oct. 30th. Contact Kim @ 541-729-9846 regarding monetary donations and raffle items or any other questions.
• Moving games and supplies from storage to the fire station two or three days before the carnival.
• Recruit volunteers.
OCTOBER 31ST, DAY OF THE CARNIVAL:
Starting at 9:00 a.m.
• Sweep sidewalks and clean floors of the station after trucks are moved.
• Set up game booths and games, ticket booth and prize tables.
• Assemble and fill treat bags.
• Drop off items for the cake walk (cakes, cookies, cupcakes, brownies, pies, etc).
• Set up raffle table.
• Cleanup any garbage before the carnival starts.
CARNIVAL TIME: 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
• Run a game
• Work the prize table
• Judge the costume contest
• Monitor the restrooms
• Monitor the parking lot
AFTER CARNIVAL: 9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
• Take down games and put into storage containers.
• Take down game booths.
• Take down prize table and put prizes into storage containers.
• Move games and storage containers out of the way of fire trucks.
• Sweep up debris before trucks are moved into the station.
NOVEMBER 1ST - DAY AFTER CARNIVAL. Time to be determined.
• Load games and supplies and take back to storage.
• Sweep and mop floors, clean popcorn and cotton candy machines.
• Put everything away.
