This week, the Rotary Club of Fort Myers East learned about the incredible mission of the Ronald McDonald House and the support they provide to families navigating a child’s medical journey.

We also continued our monthly tradition of recognizing the law enforcement officers who serve and protect our community. Their dedication and commitment make a difference every day.

From supporting families in need to honoring those who serve, Rotary is proud to put Service Above Self into action.

What a wonderful evening celebrating leadership, service, and fellowship at our recent Rotary Installation Dinner at River Hall Country Club.

These photos capture a special night as we officially welcomed our 2026-2027 Rotary Club leadership team and celebrated another impactful year of service in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to outgoing President Chad Erickson for his dedication, leadership, and commitment to our club throughout the past year. We are grateful for the time, energy, and passion he brought to advancing Rotary’s mission and values.

We are also excited to welcome Bill McClure as our new Rotary Club President for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. We look forward to another year of meaningful community involvement, service projects, partnerships, and growth under his leadership.

Rotary continues to bring together individuals who are passionate about leadership, networking, and making a positive difference locally and globally. As we reflect on another incredible Rotary year, we are reminded that Rotary is more than meetings and events. It is people coming together in service above self to create meaningful impact both locally and around the world.

This past year, our club focused on the values that guide Rotary every day:
💙 Service
🤝 Fellowship
🌎 Diversity
⭐ Integrity
❤️ Leadership

From supporting local students and youth programs to community service projects, fundraisers, literacy initiatives, and partnerships that strengthen our community, this video captures just a glimpse of what we accomplished together.

Thank you to our members, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners who continue to help move our mission forward. Together, we are creating lasting change one project, one relationship, and one act of service at a time.

Today our club had the opportunity to bring the message of water safety to the kindergarten students at The Alva School through the incredible Rotary International program, Josh the Otter! 🦦

Through stories, activities, and important safety lessons, the children learned how to stay safe around water while having fun and engaging with Josh the Otter himself. Every kindergarten student also received a special Josh the Otter book to help continue the conversation about water safety at home with their families.

As Rotarians, we are proud to support programs that educate, empower, and protect children in our community. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today possible and to the amazing students and teachers at The Alva School for welcoming us so warmly!

Rotary is not only an international organization with 1.4 million members around the world, it is also a powerful local network of clubs creating meaningful impact right here in our communities.

This week, our club partnered with fellow Rotary clubs to support early childhood literacy through a Rotary grant focused on providing books and literacy resources to local early learning centers. On Tuesday, our Club President, Chad Erickson, and Club Secretary, Olivia Lloyd, distributed books to Busy Bees Learning Center.

We are proud to collaborate with the following Rotary clubs in this effort:
- Rotary Club of Labelle.
- RRotary Club of Fort Myers South- SSanibel-Captiva Rotary Club- RRotary Club of Fort Myers- RRotary Club of Lehigh Acres
Together, we are investing in literacy, education, and the future of our youngest learners because service above self begins in our own backyard. 💛📚

What an incredible day on the course at the 3rd Annual Rotary Golf Scramble!

Because of the generosity of our sponsors, golfers, silent auction donors, volunteers, and community supporters, we raised nearly $19,000+ to support meaningful local impact throughout our community.

Proceeds from this year’s event benefit the Gulf Coast Humane Society Pet Food Pantry, Rotary scholarships for local students, and youth clubs in Lee County schools.

To our sponsors especially Anarchy Ale Works: thank you for believing in service above self and investing in causes that strengthen both people and pets in our community. Your partnership made this event possible.

To everyone who golfed, donated, volunteered, purchased golf balls for the Golf Ball Drop, bid in the silent auction, and cheered us on... thank you for making the 3rd annual scramble our most successful yet.

An email will be send to all golfers and sponsors to download professional photos taken at the event.

THANK YOU for helping us create impact together.
