NWOK Volleyball

April 13th is our end of the season tournament for NWOK volleyball!! It is at the northwestern Oklahoma statement university at the volleyball gym which is also the basketball gym. It is located right to the north of the wellness center. We hope to see as many Alva people we can there! These girls have worked so hard to learn this new sport and they deserve all the love they can get! Spread the word and let’s show up to show these girls some love! Even if your child isn’t playing, the girls would love to see some familiar faces!

It’s game day!! The start of our youth volleyball season kicks off today at the Alva ARC at 10am to noon. If you got some free time during that time, come on out and show these girls some love for their hard work they’ve been putting in! I’m sure they would love to see some familiar faces out there supporting them!

Exciting update for the league! I have been in talks with the college for the last couple weeks and we finally have our answer! On April 13th we will be hosting our end of the league tournament on the NWOSU volleyball court! This is an amazing thing for the college to let us do and gives the girls something really cool to look forward to at the end of the season. Thank you to Tim Lauderdale and the NWOSU staff for helping us get this setup. The girls who signed up for the first year of volleyball are going to be so excited for this opportunity. We hope to see all our fans and supporters out there. Stay tuned for the schedule and times of games. 🏐🏐🏐

When it comes to Alva Oklahoma, there is one thing it excels at, it’s being there for their community and children of that community. Shawn Green, owner of G.O. Steel LLC has offered to cover all practice expenses for every team in the league. Thank you so much Shawn. Myself, the coaches, and the girls are all very thankful of you and your business and taking care of this for us. With Shawn making this donation the girls are going to be able to practice up to two times a week at no cost to the coaches. This is going to help give these girls as much opportunity as they can get to learn a new sport and stay active. Again, we appreciate it greatly.
