Tonight was a fun filled Spirit Night at EE! Thank you Elderton Elementary Cheerleading, and to everyone who put this evenings festivities together! What a fun night they had.

We recognized all of our wrestlers, they had a fun game of tug of war, and we got to honor our 6th graders moving up to WSHS Wrestling next year!

Good luck to those Bobcats continuing to wrestle next year as Wolves! We can’t wait to see all of our Mat Cats back on the mat next season too!

Today we had a great day at the PJW Area 3 Futures Tournament!!

Hamea Covey - 1st Place
Emmy Spangler - 1st Place
Keira Meyer - 1st Place
Stella Moon - 3rd Place
Brayden Barnett - 3rd Place
Zoey Ferringer - 4th Place
We also had Hunter Covey and Finn Schall fall a match away from placing!

Everyone,

Obviously today did not go to plan! We had a good turnout and aside from the noise, a good start to our tournament. As all that attended know, we unfortunately were forced to end the tournament early. This was required by the school due to the fire alarm system being damaged and not being able to function as intended.

This was a loss for everyone involved, especially the wrestlers there to compete. As stated at the tournament, we will be working with pywrestling to refund all registrations in full. We will cover all processing fees to make sure everyone is made whole. They will start returning money tomorrow. Our organization will be donating all admission money received today to Autism Connection of Pennsylvania.

Several families requested for us to keep their registration from today. We ask that if you would like to donate your registration, please go to the link below and donate directly to Autism Connections of Pennsylvania in honor of Rock The Mat.

Finally, we want to thank everyone who came out today and supported our event. We will be back next year for both Open and Novice! We hope that everyone has a safe trip home and a successful season. Until next year...
