🎉Congratulations to our August Ambassador of the Month, Tara Holder with Cattlemens Bank!

Tara has called Altus home for the past 20 years and has spent more than two decades building her banking career with Cattlemens Bank. She currently serves as Branch Manager of the Altus Branch. One of the things Tara enjoys most about banking is helping customers—whether it’s assisting with a financial need, helping them reach a goal, or simply being someone they can count on. She is proud to work for a community bank that truly values its customers, its employees, and the community it serves.

Tara is married and the proud mom of two boys who attend Altus Public Schools. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending sporting events, and making memories together. A proud Texas Tech University alumna, Tara is a big fan of sports and loves experiencing live music whenever she gets the chance.

Tara is proud to serve as a board member of the Altus Chamber of Commerce and is passionate about being involved in and supporting the community she has called home for two decades. She enjoys connecting with other local businesses, welcoming new members, and helping make Altus a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

We are so excited to welcome Teresa Edwards with H&E Farms to the Chamber Family! 🥳🌱🍯

H&E Farms is a wonderful local stop for fresh, homemade, and locally sourced goodies! From fresh produce and local raw honey to Amish spices, Scott Farms dip and soup mixes, rustic crafts, and so much more, there’s always something good waiting for you.

Their coolers are oftentimes filled with delicious ready-to-go meals and treats, including desserts, sourdough pizzas, casseroles, Benny’s meals, chips and salsa, and fresh sourdough bread. Perfect for those nights when you need a delicious dinner without all the work! 😉

H&E Farms also offers catering, and Teresa has become a go-to for those moments when you volunteered to bring the dessert or side dish to an event… and then realized you don’t actually have time to make it yourself! 😂

❤️ Ribbon Cutting Recap: JCMH Foundation Food Farmacy ❤️

What started as a dream is now a reality! Today, we celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the JCMH Foundation Food Farmacy.

The Food Farmacy is joining in the efforts already happening throughout our community to help address food insecurity. While the pantry is available to any Jackson County resident, its primary focus is serving patients of Jackson County Memorial Hospital and helping remove food insecurity as a barrier to health and well-being.

📦 Food boxes will be distributed on the first Thursday of each month.

The Food Farmacy is a curbside pickup facility with six designated parking spots. When you arrive, simply call the provided phone number and let them know which parking spot you are in to begin the pickup process. Walk-ups to the designated spots are also welcome.

While they are not currently able to accept volunteers, there are still great ways our community can help! Donations can be made through the JCMH Foundation, and food donations are also welcomed at the Food Farmacy.

We are so excited to see this dream become a reality and are grateful for the heart and effort that went into creating a resource that will make a meaningful difference for individuals and families in Jackson County. Congratulations to the JCMH Foundation and everyone who helped make the Food Farmacy possible!
