The Shortgrass Arts & Humanities Council (SAHC) is made up of a number of committees that coordinate special events and support council business. Each year, SAHC hosts Art Institutes and major events, which are open to the public, such as Go for Baroque, The Quebe Sisters, and the Chautauqua "living history" tent performances every three years. In addition, the Shortgrass Arts & Humanities Council
is instrumental in bringing the performing arts, classical music, and southwestern cultural programs to the area. If you are a patron or practitioner of the arts, and would like to become involved in the cultural evolution of Southwest Oklahoma, Shortgrass Arts & Humanities Council needs your help. SAHC is always looking for volunteers to assist in our many functions, serve on a committee, or help support the growth of our program with much needed and appreciated financial support. We will be happy to provide you with further information.
