With the warmer weather, rattlesnakes are officially on the move. Please stay vigilant and take extra precautions to keep your family and pets safe.

​Safety Tips:

​Check your yard: Before letting pets out, do a quick sweep of the area, especially near tall grass, woodpiles, or porches.

​Keep pets on a leash: If you are walking your dogs near brush or open fields, keep them close and on a short lead.

​Clear the clutter: Snakes love to hide under debris, boards, and overgrown vegetation. Keeping your perimeter clear reduces hiding spots.

​Watch your step: Be mindful when walking near doorsteps or walkways, especially in the evenings.
​If you spot a snake, give it plenty of space and move your pets away immediately. Let’s keep our community and our furry friends safe! 🐾
