My goodness in my last message I neglected to mention the ARMCHAIR HORSE RACE!!
The date is OCTOBER 17th!!!
The time is; doors open at 5:30 p. m . and the RACES start at 7:00 p. m.
The cost is $20.00 which covers admission, food and your own RACE HORSE to NAME for the RACE!!!

Dear Homers Gap Members and Friends,
The last few days of summer and now the beautiful fall begins!! It is a really nice time of year, the air is cool, very little if any bugs, the trees and nature are at their finest!! Comfort food, fire places, hot chocolate, puzzles, cards and board games!
Come join us at the Civics on October 21st between 4:00 p. m. And 6:00 p. m. for our monthly dinner. Still $12.00!!! The Menu is;
Homemade Meatball Sandwich, Macaroni and Cheese, cloe-slaw, jello, applesauce or pudding and a cupcake!! Talk about comfort food!!

Here we are in August!! The lazy-hazy days of summer are half the way over!! Time to get ready for fall, school days, wood cutting, insulating and fall cleaning!!
Take a break and come to the Civics for a quick dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening!!!

Hello Homers Gap Civic Members and Friends,
I hope you are enjoying your summer; vacations, grilling out, swimming, golf, baseball games, grass cutting, gardening, getting house and yard ready for winter!! What a wonderful time of year!!!
We have added Carla Gill to our Civics Family! She is a certified exercise trainer in the UPLIFT Program!! Monday Morning and Tuesday and Thursday early evenings. Come join us, it is open to the PUBLIC!! Call 814-932-3883 for more information!!! IT IS FUN!!
This month we are celebrating the 250year of the birth of our GREAT NATION with our Eat In Take Out Dinner!!! It will be on Wednesday, July 15 between 4:00p. m. and 6:00p. m. The cost is $10.00 the menu is; Ham and Cheese Sandwich, Potato chips, Cookie and an Ice Cream Sundae all dress in red, white and blue bags!!! Come join us!! It seems summer is upon us!! Good time for lighter dinners and free evenings to spend with family and catch up on chores!
This month for our Eat In-Take Out Dinner we have received a request! The date is June 17th from 4:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m. We will be serving; Hot Dogs and Saur-Kraut, Mashed Potatoes, Baked Beans, applesauce and a cookie all for $12.00. If interested PLEASE call 814-932-3883 on or before June 15th!!
Come join us, a free night from cooking, doing dishes and it helps support the Civics!!!

May Day is right around the corner!! Sun Fun, grass cutting, planting vegetables and making beautiful flower gardens! BEAUTIFUL WEATHER!! When it isn't raining, remember that same rain is making the grass and flowers grow !!!
As always Rentals are packed!! Thankfully!!
Not too much going on at the Civics right now except SPRING CLEANING!!
