🌿 Join Our Team at Hallowed Ground Counseling 🌿

Hallowed Ground Counseling is growing, and we're looking for a compassionate, dedicated clinician to join our team.

We welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds in counseling, clinical mental health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, human services, psychology, pastoral counseling, biblical counseling, or related helping professions.

Ideal candidates will:
• Have a bachelor's or master's degree in a helping profession
• Be passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families
• Value a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and clinical skills
• Be licensed, license-eligible, or willing to pursue professional licensure

Current licensure is preferred but not required. We are open to considering candidates who are early in their professional journey and committed to continued growth and development in the counseling field.

At Hallowed Ground Counseling, we believe in providing excellent care while fostering a supportive environment for both clients and clinicians.

Each day includes a specific way you can pray for our ministry, our counselors, and the individuals and families we serve. We truly believe that prayer is one of the greatest ways you can support Hallowed Ground, and we deeply covet your prayers throughout the month.

Somewhere along the way, so many of us stop creating.

We get caught in routines and responsibilities and forget to look up. Forget to imagine. Forget to notice beauty in the everyday.

By no means am I a painter… in fact, this is not something I do often at all 😂 But that’s kind of the point.

It’s good to try new things.
To create imperfectly.
To let yourself explore again.

Because creativity keeps imagination alive, and imagination helps generate hope. If we can no longer imagine things changing, healing, growing, or becoming beautiful again, hope starts to shrink.

In this video, I talk about hope deferred and how disappointment, exhaustion, and everyday survival mode can slowly wear hope down over time. But hope can be rebuilt, often through small moments that reconnect us to wonder again.

So this is your reminder to create something, try something new, and let yourself dream beyond just getting through the day. 🌿

Faith and feelings are not enemies.

Somewhere along the way, many people started believing that struggling emotionally meant they were struggling spiritually. But Scripture paints a very different picture.

Elijah was exhausted after victory.
David lamented openly.
Job wrestled with grief.
Jesus wept.

God has never been intimidated by human emotion.

Let’s talk about spiritual bypassing, why emotional honesty matters, and how faith and feelings can coexist. 🤍
