🌳 It's true, we've been quiet for a while but as Lil Wayne once said... ♻️

Behind the scenes we have been working to solidify a organizational infrastructure that not only provides people an accessible way to improve the public spaces here in Altoona but for those efforts to have a lasting impact that can span generations.
We are now officially operating as an independent 501c3 charitable organization. Meaning we can actively and effectively raise funds for the long terms projects that will improve the public's experience here in Altoona. Making our streets more walkable, our sights more enjoyable, and inspiring pride in our community! 📄
Here are a couple of things to be excited about...
- A new 7 member board of directors with a diverse set of skills and backgrounds committed to the mission of our organization. 👥👨💻👩💻
- Volunteer driven fundraising programs that will reward our hard work. Every bag of litter we collect equals money for tangible improvements like benches, public trash cans, dog waste bins, repurposed vacant lots turned to landscaped spaces, and so much more. 🌿🪻
- PARTNERS - this year Redd Up Altoona, will be partnering with a lot of organizations to act on our collective efforts to inspire people to the change they want to see in their community. Whether it's volunteering with other organizations or having their groups join us, we are thankful for their support and cooperation as we work together to the goal of a grander Altoona. 🤝
We will have many more announcements in the next few weeks including the date of our 4th ANNUAL BIGGIN' - Community Clean Up. So stay tuned and as always thank you all so much for your support and effort.
It's going to be a big year and we can't wait to see what we do. 🌳
