An important message about attendance! 😎

🐾💛 October is National Bullying Prevention Month! 💛🖤

At Logan Elementary, we believe that kindness makes our school stronger! Every student deserves to feel safe, included, respected, and valued.

💛 What is bullying?
Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior that involves a real or perceived power imbalance and is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. It can be physical, verbal, social (such as leaving someone out on purpose or spreading rumors), or happen online through cyberbullying. Bullying is more than a disagreement between friends or a one-time conflict.

🤝 INCLUDE: If you see someone being left out, invite them to join you and show them kindness.
💛 BE KIND: Use respectful words and treat others the way you want to be treated.
🛡️ GET HELP: You do not have to handle bullying alone. Keep telling a trusted adult until you get the help you need.

If you witness bullying, don’t join in, laugh along, or share hurtful posts. Be an upstander by supporting the person being targeted and reporting what happened to a trusted adult.

💬 Remember, telling an adult is not tattling when someone is being hurt or feels unsafe. Asking for help is a sign of strength!

Let’s work together to create a school community where everyone belongs and kindness is part of everything we do.

🐾 Logan Wildcats Stand Against Bullying!

💛 KINDNESS • RESPECT • INCLUSION 🖤

Some friendly reminders from the Cafeteria:

Parents please practice your child’s 6 digit number with your child, which can also be found on their yellow take home folder. Not only do they need this for their computers in school but they also need them to get through the line in the cafeteria. They will have this number all the way up through 12th grade. Please see picture below of the keypad used in the cafeteria.

Also if your child is bringing money in for the cafeteria, please have it in an envelope with their name, grade & teachers name on the front of the envelope and have them send it to the cafeteria first thing in the morning.

Thank you!!
