We are our a group of people working towards restoring and rebuilding Altoona. With the help of volunteers we can build a strong community that can over come challenges brought to us with this ever changing future. Time and time again we hear how we are failing as a town, lets change this. Let us be the community that so many others look at as an example. How do we do this ?? ` Build strong neighb
orhood bonds. Work every day to keep the streets and the town clean, when you see someone struggling , lend a hand! ` Shop locally! When you purchase from locally owned businesses, you are putting your hard earned money back into our local economy. From the money that the local businesses receive they are able to make their shop better and are able to give back to the community. Everything goes full circle. We need a strong community circle to see the changes in our area. So where does Taking Back Tomorrow fit into this circle. We are here to educate, bring in volunteers where needed, and stimulate change. Each quarter we will pick one specific thing that we will focus our energy on. During that quarter we will raise funds, generate volunteers and educate and bring awareness to the public. You are the community, You are the ones who see the issues, you are the ones with the greatest ideas, Most importantly You are the change.
