🌧️ Yesterday we joked that Mother Nature and AYS&B might need to have a talk.

After today’s weather, we’re thinking it may be time for a full meeting. 😅

Due to the rain, all games and practices in Altoona are cancelled this evening.

If your team is scheduled to play away from Altoona, please check with your coach for updates on the status of those games.

The dugout crew is running out of patience, but we’ll keep hoping for some sunshine and better field conditions ahead. ⚾🥎☔

What a weekend for Altoona Steam baseball at the Blast Tournament:

🏆 10U Steam — Champions
🥈 8U Steam — 2nd Place
🥈 9U Steam — 2nd Place
🥈 12U Steam — 2nd Place

These teams brought the energy, battled hard, and gave us plenty to cheer about. Congratulations to all of our players and coaches on a great weekend!

If your team is scheduled to play a game outside of Altoona, please check with your coach for updates on the status of those games.

A huge thank you to all of the teams, players, coaches, umpires, fans, and families who helped make it such a great weekend of baseball.

Special thanks to our field crew, concession crew, and everyone who pitched in behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. From the first pitch to the final out, it takes a full team effort - and our AYS&B community showed up.

The fields are ready, the concession stands are still humming, and we’ve got a full day of baseball ahead. Come out, catch some Altoona Steam games, and cheer on the teams as they battle for a strong finish!
