Ok folks. May was our last organized work day for the summer. However remember to send me your hours if you go out and do any clearing. With hurricane season upon us we may have some blockages. And let me know if you find large downed trees and we will get our sawyers out on it.

Of appreciation from the Ocala Forest for the work BCHSOF does on the trails. This was at their volunteer appreciation lunch today. It was good to see Lorena, Meghan and district ranger Carrie Sekerak.

Today we set up two mounting blocks at Sunny Hill west. Many thanks to Georlyn Huntley Cates for her suggestion and for Ron Smith for building them and Jerome Harrington for his assistance in getting them out there. And of course many thanks to Alex Auton and SJRWMD for making this beautiful property available for public recreation.
