The Booker T. Washington Revitalization Project is having a Purse Bingo on Sunday, September 21 at Father Kelly Hall. Doors open at 1:00 p.m. and games start at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are now available at the Recreation Office, 2101 Fifth Avenue, Altoona, M-F from 8 to 4. Proceeds benefit park renovation projects in Altoona.

We want to thank everyone who came out today to help us paint Vets Field!! We were able to tackle a diamond side wall and the pillars with supports under the first base grandstand. We accomplished quite a bit in 3 hours.

Stay tuned for a follow-up day! The structures will need a second coat.

We are happy to announce our 15th Annual Community Classic Dinner and Auction will be held on Saturday, March 1st at the Bavarian Hall.
