Light snow will develop overnight and mix with sleet and light freezing rain during the morning hours on Monday. As temperatures warm to near, or above freezing during the afternoon hours, precipitation will transition to rain. Minor ice accumulation and minor snow accumulation are expected. Expect slippery road conditions, especially on untreated surfaces.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM TO 3 PM EST MONDAY

WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch.
Total snow and sleet accumulations of up
to one inch.

WHERE...Portions of central Pennsylvania.

WHEN...From 8 AM to 3 PM EST Monday.

IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest ice accumulations will be on the hill tops.

This morning around 0730 station 50 along with station 15 were dispatched to a CFA at Pyramid Healthcare on Plank Rd. Deputy 50 arrived on scene advising all units to stage outside. Upon investigation it was found that steam from a hot shower set the alarm off. All units cleared the scene approximately 30 min later. Units on scene Engine 50-1, Rescue 50, Deputy 50 and Quint 15.
