Last night we grilled up and served over 700 hot dogs for National Night Out. Fareway Frank was happy to meet all the kids and help celebrate a great community night. As always we are proud to serve our Altoona community.

Thank you to our wonderful City of Altoona, Iowa community! You showed up and helped us have a great celebration. Thank you to all of the vendors, organizations, the Altoona Area Chamber of Commerce, and the city of Altoona streets & parks departments for supporting the event. Thank you Card My Yard Des Moines- East for providing an eye-catching sign. We appreciate Lou Iowa Live and Danger from Nash FM 97.3 for volunteering as our hosts and emcees tonight. From train rides, demonstrations by Altoona Police K9, Altoona Police Department swag, giveaways aplenty, free hotdogs (Fareway Stores Altoona) & walking tacos (cooked & served by High Pointe Church), music by Lincoln Highway, and one very epic watermelon eating contest with some great Beattie's Watermelon Stand melonsโ€ฆit was a GREAT night!
