It’s that time of year again! 🌼 Specifically, the time of year when our community comes together to make sure no neighbor goes hungry.

The Blair County Food Drive is back for our 2026 Spring collection! What started 24 years ago as a small local effort has grown into a county-wide movement, and we need your help to keep that momentum going.

📍 Where: Sam’s Club Altoona
🗓️ When: March 27th – April 4th
⏰ Time: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. daily

Whether it’s a few cans or a full trunk, every donation stays right here in Blair County, benefiting programs like the Altoona Mt. Lion Backpack Program, local food pantries, and soup kitchens across our area.

Today I had the pleasure of Guest-hosting Studio 814 with Jack McCune. We got to surprise Sister Paula from St. Vincent De Paul Soup Kitchen (one of the amazing non-profits we donate to) for her 🎂90th Birthday 🎊 I have so much love and respect for her and everything she does for our community. Thank you to Sam's Club for the beautiful flowers & delicious, gorgeous cake, Holly Campolong Reid for the Massage gift certificate, the extremely talented Brandis Ajay from the Allegro Restaurant for singing Happy Birthday in Italian, Chef Dave Taddie, Amy Mearkle & Joey DelGrosso from DelGrosso for the "to die for" lobster & tortellini and a huge thank you to Phil Dubrow , Jack McCune, Jody Gill , Julia McAtee, Zach and the rest of the crew at WTAJ for making this possible 💝

We are so excited and incredibly thankful to be partnered up with this amazing organization. Together, we’ll be collecting food ALL YEAR LONG to help keep our community well-fed and supported. 🙌❤️

We love helping such amazing organizations! We had a blast handing out turkeys, potatoes and beer (thanks to Furrer Beverage Co. Inc.) to veterans today! Thanks for everything you guys do for the community 🤍
