Veterans Day Morning Check-In:
If you survived the Marine Corps Birthday last night… congratulations. You’ve officially unlocked Veteran Mode.

Current Status:
Crawling to the fridge like it’s a final PFT event.
Objective: Secure hydration and leftovers.
Motivation: Free food, pride, and slightly fewer regrets than last year.

🎖️ 250 years of tradition doesn’t come without a price, and for many Marines, that price was a hangover with ribbon rack still intact.

Happy Veterans Day to all who served, all who stumbled out of the bars last night, and all who earned the right to eat 5 free meals today wearing that faded moto hoodie.

New standing order, effective this 10th of November and every 10th thereafter:
OPERATION GHOST TOAST is hereby established at 2400 on the 10th day of each November, every Marine, former Marine, and friend of the Corps will post one (1) cold beer on the nearest bulkhead, rack, or fire watch post.
Call sign: “Ghost of Captain Nicholas.”He’ll swing by on eternal patrol to raise that brew in a silent toast, and stand the watch so we can celebrate the 250th Marine Corps Birthday in peace.
Verbiage for the ritual:
“Captain Nicholas, this one’s for you. From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, we remember. Semper Fi, sir. Oorah and out.”
