Ski season is getting closer in New Mexico.

Here are the planned 2026–27 opening dates currently listed for ski areas across the state:

• Sipapu — Nov. 20
• Red River — Nov. 25
• Taos Ski Valley — Nov. 26
• Ski Santa Fe — Nov. 26
• Ski Apache — Nov. 28
• Pajarito Mountain — Dec. 4
• Angel Fire Resort — Dec. 11
• Sandia Peak — Dec. 19

Opening dates are subject to weather, snow conditions and mountain operations. Sandia Peak has also indicated the possibility of an earlier opening.

Enchanted Forest Cross Country Ski Area will not operate during the 2026–27 season.

A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to Steven Gomez and the incredible team at Cornerstone Bakery!
Our recent Hatch Green Chile Sale fundraiser was a huge success, and we truly couldn’t have done it without their generous community spirit and hospitality. Steven went above and beyond by welcoming us into their parking lot for the chile roasting, generously providing our water and electricity, and keeping our spirits high with an amazing custom cookie platter and cold sodas for our crew.
