Earlier this month, the Altavista Journal featured a story celebrating the 2nd anniversary of Solutions, Antiques and Collectibles -- yet another Altavista small business located in the downtown district! Congratulations Melissa and Darryl for a first good year and looking forward to another one! They've got lots of cool stuff for everyone! So, c'mon and support local small town businesses both in the downtown district and throughout the greater Altavista community! πŸ˜ƒ

Let's "Get Fired-Up, Altavista" for the future of our downtown! The Community Business Launch (CBL) classes began last night at the Spark Innovation Center, with the Small Business Development Center - Lynchburg Region guiding the entrepreneurs who have been selected to participate in this exciting business development program! These CBL participants represent retail and restaurant-style businesses that will help bring even more energy and opportunity to our community.

Programs like "Fire-Up Altavista" are about more than competition β€” they’re about supporting entrepreneurs, strengthening our downtown, and helping great ideas grow into successful businesses.

Altavista On Track wants to give HUGE THANK YOU's to our partners who made this program possible:
the Spark Innovation Center, the Town of Altavista, Virginia, the Community Business Launch and Virginia Main Street programs within the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD, the Small Business Development Center - Lynchburg Region, Main Street America, Campbell County VA Economic Development, the Virginia To***co Region Revitalization Commission (TRRC), the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance (LRBA), the Central Virginia Business Coalition (CVBC), and
Earth Right Mid-Atlantic.

Please share. Thank you.
