So... it's Giving Tuesday.
If you're like me, you are getting flooded, bombarded, and reminded every other minute by any and every organization that you/I have ever supported what today is.
Personally, I don't have enough money in my account today to make a meaningful donation to EVERY hand that is reaching out. Seriously, I could afford to perhaps send $5 to all the various charities, but I also know that $5 or $50 or $500 all cost the same to process and acknowledge. So, a $5 contribution could amount to $3 or less in real help. It's enough to make me want to shut off my phone!
That said, if you are a fan of Giving Tuesday... or are looking for a local non-profit with no paid employees that keeps your dollars RIGHT HERE to help us continue our mission of "Easing the Burden, One Life at a Time," we would accept your gift with inexpressible gratitude. We aren't begging for it. That's between you and the Lord.
So, whatever your thoughts, you don't even have to give today. Any time is perfect.
