Today, on Flag Day, we pause to honor the flag that has flown over generations of Americans who have served, sacrificed, and defended our freedoms.

At the National Center for Healthy Veterans, we are especially grateful for the men and women who have worn our nation's uniform. Every day, we have the privilege of walking alongside Veterans as they pursue healing, restoration, and renewed purpose.

What does healing look like?

It looks like Veterans finding community after isolation. It looks like purpose replacing hopelessness. It looks like men discovering that their story is not over.

At Valor Farm, Patriots are given the opportunity to heal, grow, and prepare for the next chapter of life through community, meaningful work, trauma recovery, equine-assisted services, career preparation, faith-based support, and so much more.

A few weeks ago, several of our Patriots had the opportunity to visit the residents of Westminster Canterbury for an afternoon of fellowship, conversation, and a few friendly rounds of bingo.

While our Patriots were there to serve and encourage others, they often find that these experiences are just as impactful for them. Building connections, sharing stories, and investing in the lives of others are all important parts of the healing journey.

We are grateful to Westminster Canterbury for welcoming our Patriots and allowing them to spend time with their residents. It was a blessing for everyone involved, and we look forward to opportunities like this in the future.

Who doesn't love a good car show?

This Saturday, we're excited to be a part of Chrome for a Cause, a car show benefiting the National Center for Healthy Veterans. Come check out some amazing vehicles, meet members of the NCHV team, and learn more about the work happening at Valor Farm.

As an added bonus, we'll be bringing one of our mini horses along, so be sure to stop by and say hello!

That means it's time for Open Arena and our monthly Community Campfire at Valor Farm.

Join us this Thursday for an evening of horses, fellowship, and community. Open Arena runs from 5:00–7:00 PM, and we'll gather around the campfire beginning at 7:00 PM.

Whether you're bringing a horse, bringing a friend, or just looking for a place to connect, we'd love to see you there.
