Founded in 1936, the Florida Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (FANA) represents 5,400 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) licensed in Florida. FANA advocates for our patients and members in legislative and governmental affairs and serves as a resource for CRNAs, the nursing and medical professions, hospitals, health care facilities and others interested in anesthesia care.

More than medicine. More than anesthesia. The recent AANA feature on FANAS’ mission in Palawan is a powerful reminder of what CRNA-led care can mean around the world. With more than 130 volunteers, the team helped provide free medical, dental, and surgical services to more than 1,600 people, while also offering CPR and basic life support training in the community.
