Your SEA ballot must arrive at PERC by 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. A postmark by that date does not meet the receipt deadline.

If you haven’t returned your ballot, follow the instructions in your PERC packet and allow time for delivery. Mailing now does not guarantee arrival by the deadline.

A few dates to keep on your calendar this week! ❤️

Monday, October 12: Teacher workday in SCPS. Schools are closed for students.

Tuesday, October 13: Second quarter begins.

Thursday, October 15: Join SEA at Lyman High School’s Media Center. The Representative Assembly begins at 4:45 p.m., followed by a discussion of bargaining priorities. The discussion is open to everyone. Bring your priorities and share your input!

Before you mail your PERC ballot, take a moment to check the instructions. ✉️

• Mark an X in the square of your choice.
• Make no other marks and do not sign the ballot.
• Follow your packet instructions, use the provided envelopes, and sign the outside return envelope where directed.

Complete your ballot privately and mail promptly. The Public Employees Relations Commission must RECEIVE it by 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. A postmark is not enough.

SCPS’s 2027 annual benefits enrollment ends tomorrow, Friday, October 9.

Before you finish:
• Review and SUBMIT your elections.
• Complete your to***co-status attestation, even if you don’t use to***co. Missing it results in a $500 annual surcharge.
• Save your Confirmation Summary.

New hires/rehires hired August 1–October 1: your special annual enrollment window is November 2–6. Your initial 30-day election deadline still applies.
