It was a great weekend for a ball game! In recognition of their hard work in Moon Pie sales, the Lookouts allowed the area Scouts to parade the field before the game. What made it even better was the Lookouts win over the Blue Wahoos!

The Pack had a fun time with the “Pirates of Skymont Bay,” this past weekend. They made pet parrots, built boats to float marbles, made pirate flags, and went fishing! The pack was also able to be the first to correctly figure out the Pirate Cipher. Even though the camp fire was rained out, everyone from our Bears to our Dragons had a blast! Thank you Skymont Staff and Volunteers for a wonderful and memorable swashbuckling weekend.

Today was the 2026 Cherokee Council Pinewood Derby race! We had a great turn out and there were a lot of great cars made by some pretty awesome scouts. A fun time was had by all and congratulations to all our winners!

Racers mark your calendars! The Cherokee Council Pinewood Derby is this Saturday! Early registration is open now at the QR Code below. For those who want more speed, there will be an Outlaw Race after the main event!

Doors open at 9:00 AM on race day with the event starting at 10:00 AM.
