Yesterday was a good day! A mom and dad were reunited with their two children. We are so proud of their commitment to the Safe Baby Court program and their perseverance throughout this process. It has not always been smooth sailing, but their determination to do things right this time led to this moment. This mom shared with us that she has been a mother for 13 years, but this is the first time she’s actually been a “mom.”

We currently have a family of 6, including 4 small children, that have no air inside their home. We are hoping to find a larger window unit for them as we are heading into temperatures that are predicted to reach a heat index of over 100 degrees in coming days.
