Looking back at our Live Rebuilding Series: Sessions 2+3 🔨

By mid-summer, the Demonstration Homes had moved well beyond foundations and framing.

In Session 2, we focused on plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems. In Session 3, we turned to exterior finishes, materials, and the decisions that shape both durability and character.

Each session was designed to make the rebuilding process more transparent, giving neighbors a chance to see what happens at each milestone before the walls are closed up.

The Elizabeth over time 🌼

At 1,600 SF with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, the Elizabeth is a Tudor Revival inspired home with steeply pitched rooflines, a modern storybook feel, and a vaulted, backyard facing living space.

Looking back at our Live Rebuilding Series: Session 1 Recap 💭

We held our first session back in May 2026, when the FC Demonstration Homes were still in the early stages of construction. We walked through site work, foundations, framing, and some of the first major steps in bringing the homes to life.

The Live Rebuilding Series was created to bring more clarity to the construction process and give homeowners and neighbors a firsthand look at what rebuilding involves at every milestone.

A lot has changed since this first session! 👀 We’re looking forward to welcoming the community back to see the finished homes at our Grand Opening on October 24.

The Lexington, from drawing to reality ✍️

At 1,722 SF with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, the Lexington is a Craftsman-style home defined by strong, grounded columns and a generous front porch that extends the living space outdoors.

Over the past several months, the Lexington, Elizabeth, Opa, and Lily homes have served as a place to share the rebuilding process in real time. Now, we’re excited to open the doors to the completed homes and inviting the community to experience them firsthand!

Join us on Saturday, 10/24 for a grand opening. Ribbon cutting at 10AM followed by an open house, community resource booths, food, drinks, and music until 2PM!

That’s a wrap on our Live Rebuilding Series!

Our fourth and final session focused on interior finishes and material selections, with a full display of samples for homeowners to see, feel, and compare in person.

As one homeowner shared:

“I appreciated the opportunity to look at the interior options. It helped me imagine how some of those choices could work in my own home, and I left with a clearer sense of direction.”

Next up: celebrating the completion of the homes! Join us on October 24 from 10am–2pm for an open house and community block party, with a chance to walk through the finished homes and more.
