• Plant, tend, and harvest fresh vegetables and fruit together
• Have hands on cooking classes where knife safety, cooking technique, and balanced meals are emphasized
• Have group activities such as games and lessons to teach nutrition and provide exposure to healthy eating techniques
• Go on walks around the community to see neighbors gardens, animals, and more
• Eat nutritious food together

Woo! We got another small grant from the NH Council on Developmental Disabilities for this year's Garden Meals program! It's wonderful to not only have the financial support but the moral support from professionals that understand the importance of gardening and good food for independence and quality of life! Thank you!

HOW WE LOVE YOU! Thank you to two AMAZING local businesses: Ruffled Feathers Farm NH and Harlow Farm Stand for their donations of vegetable starts and seeds earlier this year. Together their in kind donations valued about $400. Wow. We are so grateful for your support!

It was great to have a table yesterday at Alstead's 250th anniversary festival! In addition to getting some great exposure and local people interested in volunteering, we were able to get some donations in exchange for some of the extra packets of seed from the giant seed donation. Are you looking for some good quality seed for your garden and want to make a donation? Or do you work with another community garden or garden project and want some free seeds? Let us know!

Thank you to Achille Agway of Walpole and Botanical Interests Seed Packets for the huge and hugely impactful donation of seed packets! We will have plenty for years to come. We have enough seeds to donate to other gardening programs and non-profits, please contact if you are interested!
