In recognition of National Voter Registration Day, Zeta Amicae of Alsip, Illinois alongside their sponsoring chapter, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated - Tau Psi Zeta Chapter joined together in service to help students and members of the community take an important step in civic engagement—**REGISTERING TO VOTE!**

Today, September 15, 2026, communities across the country are participating in this nonpartisan national effort to help eligible Americans register to vote, update their registration information, and prepare to participate in upcoming elections.

The auxiliary as well as Zeta friends were proud to connect with students and community members, share voter registration information, answer questions, and encourage eligible individuals to make sure they are vote ready.

Registration is the first step. Participation is the next.

Zeta Amicae of Alsip, Illinois with our friends of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority - Tau Psi Zeta Chapter up early this holiday weekend volunteering at the 25th Bike the Drive.

Active Transportation Alliance is a non-profit advocacy organization working to improve conditions for walking, biking, and public transit throughout Chicagoland, such as more bike lanes, wheelchair and disability accessible resources, etc. This year the event had over 15,000 registrants to participate.

The auxiliary has volunteered now for several years. Their high spirit and engagement with the riders is the highlight of the riders event.

The Alsip Amicae were proud to attend the Tau Psi Zeta Chapter Executive Leadership Retreat! 💙🩵

It was a wonderful day filled with learning, fellowship, collaboration, laughter, and preparation for the year ahead. Under the leadership of TPZ’s new President, Rev. Angela Grimes, we are excited, energized, and ready to continue supporting Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and serving our community with purpose! 🕊️✨
