We are happy to announce that Playgrounds and the Skate Park are re-opening today. Please follow all social distancing guidelines as well as IDPH guidance and do not gather in groups of 50 or more.

Please note: Playgrounds and park amenities are not cleaned and sanitized.

We are making or way around to each park site to remove tape and replace signage.

We would like to send a reminder to our users:

Alsip Park District parks are open but you must comply with social distancing requirements as defined in the Governors Order. Per Illinois Executive Order 2020-10, all district playgrounds are closed to public use, including the Skate Park, until further notice.

The Alsip Park District is looking for volunteers to work in the Funfest Concession Stand on Saturday, June 16. The concession stand opens at 11:00 am closes at 9:30 pm. A variety of time slots are available. Contact the Alsip Park District at 389-1003 to volunteer.

Re-development of the Apollo Park Playground continues and the progress is being made each day. The park is scheduled to re-open on Friday, June 1, 2018.

Get your swimsuits and towels ready as the Sprayfari Aquatic Park is scheduled to open on Saturday, May 26 at 12:00 pm. If you have not purchased your membership pass, there is still time to purchase one at our regular season rates. All passes can be purchased at the Apollo Recreation Center, located at 12521 S.
