Our goal is to provide an inviting place for our fans where they can freely discuss VFW
and veterans’ issues. In order to do this, we have guidelines for content posted to our
page. The VFW strives to avoid removing content or banning users. However, for the
benefit of all fans, we must enforce the following guidelines. Comments or posts that contain one or more o

f the qualities listed below will be deleted. Users may be banned if they are deemed excessive or chronic repeat offenders. We do not tolerate:
* Hateful comments
* Racial discrimination
* Excessive profanity
* Please remember we have underage fans on our page
* Gender discrimination
* Sexual Orientation discrimination
* Religious discrimination
* Links, images or excessive references to outside companies or their products
* Referral codes
* Identifying members in defamatory, abusive, or generally negative terms or endangering their privacy
* Spam
* Posting ads from other companies or posting any content in a provocative or harassing
manner repeatedly (i.e. the posting of content specifically to incite arguments, harass the
organization or fans of the organization)
* You are, however, more than welcome to post complaints or issues in an effort to seek
resolution in a generally accepted civil manner

Dear Members of Post 9578,

On behalf of the Auxiliary, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous support of our recent clothing and item drive. Thanks to the community's generosity, we were able to collect over 10 boxes of clothes and items, all of which went directly to families served by the Alpine Union School District.

This kind of impact would not be possible without the steady support of Post 9578. Your willingness to back our Auxiliary's efforts, time and again, reflects the very best of what we stand for together as an organization: taking care of our neighbors and giving back to the communities that surround us.

We are deeply grateful for your love and support of Alpine, and we look forward to continuing this important work alongside you.

“PAYGO requires it.” “Money goes back to the Treasury.” “32 million helped.”

NONE of those talking points are true! And none of them changes the fundamental question: Should future disabled veterans receive less just so Congress can “claim” to reduce the deficit? We say no.

Congress can choose to help today’s veterans WITHOUT cutting benefits for future veterans.
