Big Thanks to all who support us here in our community ,
We have a protest from the south of our event from another event the same weekend as our Dutch Oven Cookoff ..
It does not seem un common many dates are overlayed these days with more people and many diverse interests in the area... we have our reasons for choosing this weekend supporting the Team Roping, and Dutch Oven , many people come through here going south and could possibly attend both events if we shared postings .
I have offered in the past to put out a donatlon jar for the benefactor of the ghost town Barnes Event , "Terlingua School" with no response .. I offer again as we have children in our community that attend also ... and we will post the Barnes flyers in case some one wishes attend as well ..Hopefully turning out a great weekend for the whole area .
