We’re so excited to officially welcome 911 Communications Officer I Canas to the #919!

She grew up as an Explorer in California, gaining early experience in competitions, training, and community service. Those opportunities sparked a passion for public safety that never faded. Now, she’s giving back to her adopted community not only through the Cadet program, but every day in her full-time role as a dispatcher on D Squad.

We’re proud to have her on the team. Welcome aboard!

Meet Makhoul.
He started as a Police Cadet.
Now, he's a Police Officer who serves on patrol's D Squad and works as a mentor for the #919 when he's not serving with the Georgia Army National Guard as a UH-60 BlackHawk Crew Chief and a helicopter repairer/turbine engine repairer.

Proof that chasing your dreams is worth it!

Tuesday Night Training.

Scenario begins.
Radio traffic dispatches the cadets to a location.
Unknown Trouble call. Literally no idea what they would find upon 'arrival'.
Found a few surprises.
A few lessons learned, a few skills sharpened, and a few laughs after scenarios wrapped up.
