Classes Start: September 13 (Sundays, 11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
Retreats: Camp Glisson (Fall 2026 and Winter 2027)
Confirmation Sunday: April 18, 2027
Cost: $295 (Includes one retreat, a Bible, and all materials. Scholarships available!)

This week, 64 volunteers served on campus for VBS, sharing the powerful message that our kids can do all things through him who strengthens them. We are especially proud that 40 of those volunteers were from our amazing youth ministry!

We invite all VBS attendees, volunteers, and their families to join us for worship this Sunday at 10 a.m. for a special service featuring all your favorite VBS songs. Don't forget to wear your VBS t-shirt and hang around afterward for free Kona Ice!

April 24-25, BUMC held its second annual Brain Health Weekend. We kicked the weekend off with a Concert in the Cloister featuring music from local legends Mark Miller, Drew Lawson, and Dennis Parker.

On April 25, we had 150 community members on campus for a Brain Health Symposium. This was a full day of education, encouragement, and practical tools focused on protecting brain health and supporting those living with dementia.

Together, we raised more than $4,000 for the Beyond Dementia Coalition and more than $4,000 for the Alzheimer's Association.

A special thank you to BUMC’s planning team including: Ava Barnabei-Dehar, Jeff Beals, Kelly Christian, Amanda Malone, Crista Scott-Barbour, Martha Lee Thwaite, Leslie Wagner, and Vicky Wyche. Also community members who were integral parts of the planning team: Gerry Roth with Beyond Dementia Coalition, Laila Stamer with The Tulip Place, Nancy Treaster with The Caregiver's Journey, and Cathy Suleiman with Senior Provisions. Another note of gratitude for all 28 BUMC volunteers.
