Know how your donations are being used.
...yet they use children in SO many of their ads. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society directs 4% toward pediatric cancers...but ALWAYS uses kids in their ads.
Which is precisely why you will never see Kate's name, face, logo or our family participate in Relay for Life or Light the Night. It's not that the organizations are BAD...they do great things for adults.
BUT.
My baby didn't get to grow up to BE an adult, and I find it shameful that they would use a child like her in their marketing to pull at your heart strings and then give a pittance.
Know where you donate, folks. Do your research.
