Mr. Robert C. Jamison

Robert “Bob” Collins Jamison, 87 years old, of Woodstock Georgia passed away on Monday, August 3rd, 2006.
Bob was a 1957 graduate of Summerlin Institute in Bartow, Florida and held a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. He was a faithful member of Alpharetta Methodist Church for more than 50 years and served his church in numerous leadership roles. He was an active member of the Alpharetta Lions Club to include serving as club president and District Governor. Additionally, he proudly served and assisted families as a volunteer at the Georgia National Cemetery (GNC), and he was instrumental in the planning project of the GNC bell tower.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife Carol Kimbrell Jamison and is survived by his wife Pat Jamison, daughter Cindy Jamison Taylor (Tim), son Scott Jamison (Darice), grandchildren Katherynne Taylor Greve (Hendrik), Elizabeth Jamison Johnston (Matt), Emily Taylor, Zach Jamison (Elizabeth), Patrick Jamison, and Mason Taylor (Allie), and five great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, August 7th, 2026 at 2:30pm at Alpharetta Methodist Church (69 North Main Street, Alpharetta, Ga 30009). Reception for family and friends to follow.
Bob will be interred at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Bob’s favorite charities can be made to the Georgia National Cemetery, Tunnels to Towers, or Canine Companions for Veterans, Inc.
