since 1975. North Atlanta Football League offers youth flag/tackle football and cheer, ages K - 5th grade.

Serving Alpharetta and Milton since 1975, we have a strong belief that by playing football, young athletes learn timeless qualities of leadership, responsibility, perseverance and teamwork, and families develop a since of community. 2015 brings two exciting changes to our program:
Alpharetta Youth Football Association is changing its name.
*We are now the North Atlanta Football League (NAFL)

e are aligning with North Metro Football League

These changes are intended to establish alignment with programs across north Atlanta, create a broader sense of community within our area, and provide our coaches and players exposure to competitively aligned teams. Every year, hundreds of children age 6 to 14 take to the NAFL football fields to play the game they love. Our responsibility as a league is not taken lightly. The impact of football on a young person's life can have lifelong benefits. We want to provide the best youth football experience possible. Whether its successful middle school feeder programs that are made up of predominantly NAFL coaches and players, to college athletes that thank NAFL for starting their dream, to families that feel a bigger sense of community, we are constantly reminded of the impact of sports. To the kids, the game is about fun, friendships and camaraderie. It’s about achieving success or learning from failure, then lining right back up to try again. It is with a heavy heart that I share some sad news regarding our NAFL football family.

David Richardson, 5th Grade Tackle Head Coach, NAFL Board Member, and fiancé of NAFL President Nitcha Louis, passed away yesterday.

As we all know, football is a sport that creates FAMILY to its core. This news is not only devastating to Nitcha and her family, but to our entire NAFL family. David was the epitome of “coach”. He loved his players, fellow coaches, and the game of football. Saying that he will be missed doesn’t begin to scratch the surface. He was loved by so many and will be missed by all of us.
