This past Wednesday, March 25th the Ecuadorian American Chamber of Commerce Southeast USA hosted our annual International Women’s Day Networking Event!
We had the pleasure of having two amazing 🤩 keynote speakers Annette Oslin Cornett Sales Executive with Copa Airlines who gave an impactful speech about her journey in all aspects of life, both personal and professional and shared how she overcame obstacles and challenges along the way to achieve milestones that have led her to her current position within Copa Airlines.
We also had the privilege to hear from Shirley Zambrano Managing Attorney at Zambrano Law who shared her experience after arriving as a teenager from her beloved Quevedo, Ecuador; listening to her story of how she felt in a new country, with a platera of challenges, from learning a new language, culture, and navigating the challenges that came with life in this country of opportunities. It was an impactful experience for all of our attendees to listen to Shirley’s drive, entrepreneurial spirit, and above all her willingness to take that leap of faith to make her path with a clear vision of having her own Law Firm, which is now a reality!
We want to also thank all of the people that joined us on this meaningful event, that highlighted the impact of Women in our communities!
