Farewell to Peter Max (1937–2026), the legendary Pop artist whose vibrant colors, cosmic imagery and joyful spirit helped define the visual culture of the 1960s.

His iconic artwork appeared on everything from posters and postage stamps to major sporting events, airplanes and the Statue of Liberty series. Through his art, Peter Max inspired generations to see the world with greater color, hope and imagination.

Rest in peace, Peter Max. Your brilliant colors will continue to brighten the world. 🎨🌈
