Greencom app provides a social platform for sustainability, where brands and individuals interact with their environment for financial and social support. The Greencom logo is a symbol of sustainability, to remind people to consider the environment and that a community is there to help. It should be easy to make a positive impact on the environment. And we think people should be aware of meaningful green projects that need support. Programs all over the world showcase their projects with a goal to raise funds and attention. We advocate for a business to citizen transaction model for funding sustainability. Each transaction from subscribed Greencom business yields cashback that can be directed to the member's project of choice. The average cashback is about 2-3%. Greencom includes grocery stores, clothing stores, boutiques, and many national retail stores.

The One Million Trees Initiative is an exciting collaboration of metro Atlanta cities, regional nonprofit organizations, and Trees Atlanta. Combining our efforts, together we will plant and conserve one million trees across metro Atlanta by 2030. 🌲🌳🌆💚

The partnership recognizes that environmental issues are not limited to city boundaries and cross over into all areas of sustainability concerns. We are joined in a common fight to address local climate effects and environmental stresses from urban growth. We can improve our cities’ sustainability and better protect the health and well-being of people across metro Atlanta by planting and conserving more trees where we live – in urban areas. 🌳🌎🙌

The count to one million includes trees planted in public spaces, for public projects, and on private land (such as yards of homes, businesses, and other commercial land) in partner cities. Trees preserved in forested areas that are newly protected by conservation deed for permanent protection as of 2020 through 2030 will be counted. 🌲🏡🌇🏘🌳

Introducing an amazing new program with called “Meals With Meaning” on Greencom. 🍽🥗🍔💚 Read more below!

In 2020, in response to the global pandemic and rising rates of food insecurity, HELLOFRESH created a program called MEALS WITH MEANING. The goal of the program is to help make fresh food available and accessible to those experiencing food insecurity. In July 2021 HelloFresh partnered with another local company, PRATT INDUSTRIES, and reached SECOND HELPINGS ATLANTA to expand their national program and found Meals with Meaning Atlanta. 🍽

During food distributions, each household will receive at least two ready-to-prepare HelloFresh meal kits (which include pantry staples, fresh vegetables, protein, and cooking instructions) plus a bag of fresh fruit. 🥒🥕🥬🥗🍗🍎

The meal kits will help alleviate time and financial burdens by providing recipients with ready-to-prepare complete meals. The kits allow recipients to cook fresh, balanced meals and provide the opportunity for families and communities to connect together over a home-cooked meal. 😃

Through the Meals with Meaning Atlanta program Second Helpings Atlanta and our incredible volunteers will assemble and distribute 2000 four-serving meal kits each week. That’s 8000 meals going to our neighbors in need every single week. 🙌📈🍽
