Heads up for Thursday! FCS Innovation Academy
ROAD CLOSURES & PARKING INFO
Taste of Alpharetta returns to downtown this Thursday, May 14, bringing a full evening of local food, live music, competitions, and family activities from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. With thousands expected, residents and visitors should plan ahead for temporary road closures, parking impacts, and traffic delays throughout the day and evening.
Beginning at 4:00 AM on Thursday, May 14, on-street parking will close in designated downtown areas. Any vehicles remaining in closed zones are subject to ticketing and towing at the owner’s expense.
STREETS IMPACTED:
🚧 MILTON AVENUE
Fully closed from Hwy 9 to the entrance of the 92 Milton Avenue Parking Deck.
🚧 OLD ROSWELL STREET
Completely closed.
🚧 OLD CANTON STREET
Closed to through traffic – hotel valet access only.
🚧 ROSWELL/CANTON STREET
Closure begins 7:30 AM
Fully closed from Old Milton Parkway to School Drive
Access to School Drive from Mayfield Road restricted to residents and event parking only
🚧 COMMERCE STREET, MARKET STREET, & N/S BROAD STREETS
All streets completely closed.
🚧 HIGHWAY 9
Closure begins 10:00 AM and remains closed until approx. 1:00 AM Friday. Closed from Academy Street to Old Milton Parkway
All closures are expected to remain in place through approximately 5:00 AM Friday, May 15.

Parking downtown will fill quickly, so alternative options are strongly encouraged.
