Let’s be real—the cost of everything is going up right now. From groceries to gas, we know local families are feeling the squeeze. We believe that a tighter budget shouldn't keep a child off the field or out of the game they love.

That’s why we’re launching the ⭐Cleats 4 Kids!⭐ campaign in partnership with our friends at 💜Rebel Roots Hair Studio. We want to make sure every young athlete is geared up and ready to play, regardless of price tags.

We haven’t forgotten about you! After the March ice storm forced us to cancel our last camp, we’ve been working hard to reschedule. Between spring break and other events, we decided to do something even better—we’re bringing the camp to YOU!

The Cubs Football Academy is officially going on tour, traveling directly to every elementary school in the Alpena Public School district. We are kicking things off at Ella White and making our way through the entire lineup:

👟 IMPORTANT: Wear athletic clothes and GYM SHOES ONLY. Absolutely NO cleats are allowed in the gym. Don’t forget your water bottle!

Did you know the best football players are often multi-sport athletes? 🏀🤼‍♂️ Many of our Cubs athletes are currently competing in wrestling, baseball, and basketball, and we love it! The agility, balance, and discipline they learn in those sports make them even better on the football field. Our Academy is designed to complement that growth, keeping Alpena’s youth moving and sharpening their skills all year round.

Hi everyone, we are reaching out as quickly as we can—we just got word an hour ago that APS has closed all facilities for the weekend due to the weather. Unfortunately, that means our camp is cancelled. While this is out of our control and safety is the priority, we sincerely apologize for the last-minute change. Please know we are already working on a plan to reschedule and will update you all soon. Stay safe!

Why do we focus on non-contact fundamentals during the off-season? 🏈 It’s about building a "Football IQ" and muscle memory without the wear and tear. Our coaching staff is dedicated to teaching safe, effective techniques like agility and hand-eye coordination that translate to any sport. We believe that a smarter player is a safer, more confident player.

Our coaching staff is back from Detroit, and the energy is through the roof! Spending the weekend with top minds from the Detroit Lions, Michigan State, and Ferris State wasn't just about plays—it was about bringing the highest level of instruction back to the youth of Alpena.

We are implementing pro-level drills and modern safety techniques to ensure our athletes are getting the best development in Northern Michigan. The "off-season" is officially over—it’s time to work.

We can’t wait to show you what the New Standard looks like this Saturday!
