The Alpena County 4-H Animal Market Sale is a great opportunity to support local youth while investing in the future of our community.

🕓 BUYER CHECK-IN
Market Sale starts at 4:00 PM

Buyers should arrive before 4:00 PM to check in.
📍 Buyer Check-In: Under the Swine Barn
At check-in, buyers will need to review their file and information and receive their assigned bidder number.

🆕 FIRST-TIME BUYER?
No big deal! We can create your bidding information right at check-in.

🔄 WHAT IS RESALE?
Don't have room in your freezer? Want to donate it to a church?
That's OKAY!
You can still support a 4-H youth by bidding on an animal and, at the end of the sale, indicating that you want the animal to go to resale.
The resale portion begins after the regular auction is complete.

💰 WHERE DOES RESALE MONEY GO?
First round of the sale: Money goes to the 4-H youth.
Resale round: Money goes directly to the Alpena 4-H Council to support year-round 4-H activities and programming.
Your resale purchase helps support 4-H youth all year long!

🤝 CAN WE SPLIT A BID?
YES!
Have two friends or business partners who want to purchase an animal together?
Absolutely!
For example, if you and two friends want to purchase a pig and split the cost, we can make that work.

🖊‼ CHECK OUT
Make sure that at the end of the sale you "check out".
If you didnt purchase anything simply return your bidder number, we will have it saved for you next year!
Check out is an important step to making sure your invoice is correct.
This is the time where you select your what processor or where the animal is going.

🏠 WANT TO TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HOME?
YES, THAT CAN BE DONE!
If you want to purchase an animal and take it home, you can do that.

Cash and checks are accepted.
Checks should be made payable to:
