💚 Show your 4-H pride on the road AND online!
Michigan youth ages 8–19 are invited to enter the MI 4-H License Plate Promotion Contest as part of the Michigan State Fair 4-H & Youth Virtual Showcase!
Create a short video (90 seconds max) and/or design a poster, flyer, or graphic
Your goal: Encourage others to purchase the Michigan 4-H license plate!

Prizes will be awarded, and winners will be featured on Michigan 4-H social media channels.
Put your creativity to work and help spread the word about 4-H across Michigan!

The License Plate Contest is in Department 73 in the Michigan State Fair 4-H and Youth Virtual Showcase

The Michigan Youth Livestock Conference crew was at it again this past weekend. Alpena was host of the MYLC Sheep & Goat Showcase.

This event is a collaborative effort between 4-H and the Michigan Junior Livestock Society. Thank you to everyone who help make this happen it was a great day!

Next year we hope to add swine!

Take a look at this note for the upcoming beef workshop!

Hello, I am looking to get direction on what 4H'ers would like to know more about in relation to Beef showmanship, health, and Nutrition so I can put together a reference slideshow or document for 4H'ers. Questions can be anything related to beef cattle including but not limited to vaccine protocols, common diseases, genetics, etc. Please let me know if there is anything you would like to learn more about. I will be looking forward to seeing everyone this summer on my break from veterinary school!

Registration is now open for the 2026 Michigan 4-H and FFA Livestock Judging State Contest! The contest will take on Wednesday, July 1 at the Farm Bureau Pavilion at MSU.
While the dates no longer coincide with Michigan Livestock Expo, this contest does still count as an educational experience for the MLE Premiere Stockman Award!
