Puplandia Dog Rescue

Puplandia Dog Rescue Puplandia Dog Rescue is a 100% volunteer driven nonprofit based out of Portland, Oregon. Puplandia Dog Rescue opened its doors to mutts April 19th 2016.

We are an all volunteer, foster based program and became 501c3 late 2017. We take in dogs all over Oregon and have created a program to be able to help surrounding states with a high kill rate. Our adoption process is lengthy, but worth all the steps. We are only looking for the very best fit for the dogs in our care. Its never first come first adopt - rather- first perfect home gets to join our P

uplandia Pack. We adopted to Portland and metro area - Its hard to adopt to homes far away because we do a home visit for every dog and pup-kitten in the rescue.

Reminder! Our Pop-Up Pet Food Bank is tomorrow, Thursday, August 27th, from 5:00–6:30 PM!

📍 20345 SW Pacific Hwy, Suite 303, Sherwood
Please come around to the back side of the building. The garage door will be open.

We will have a variety of pet food and supplies available, including dry and wet dog and cat food, litter, treats, small animal food, and some prescription diets. Our inventory changes every time we open and depends entirely on community donations. If you need an RX diet, feel free to message or email us to ask what we currently have available.

Please remember that supplies are limited, and if we run out of food, we may need to close the line early. Food is distributed based on the number of pets in your household, and visits are limited to once every 30 days. You may pick up for your household and one additional household only.

Please bring a bag to carry your items and be respectful of our neighboring businesses. Do not block or park in front of neighboring businesses. You may need to park nearby and walk.

Our goal is to help keep pets fed and together with the people who love them. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! 🐾

It’s not the answer I was hoping for… I like Black & White… a problem and a solution!
We still don’t have an answer for Bodie but we have a couple things to try. We are going to try both options … another food change AND medication. If the daily p*e accidents stop we will stop one and see if the p*eing comes back.
He’s such a happy dude, always happy to play, ready for snuggles and love. We will figure this out so he can find his perfect home!
I don’t have the cost for the medication and special food yet but thankfully so many of you have turned in cans and bottles! The cost will be covered in soda can money this month! Xoxo Thank you Pack!

Pop Up Pet Food Bank

Our Pet Food Bank will be open Sunday August 9th from 12:30-2:30 PM at:
20345 SW Pacific Hwy, Suite 303, Sherwood
(Back side of the building — the garage door will be open.)
What to Expect

We have a variety of pet food and supplies available, including a couple larger bags of bird seed, dry and wet food dog/cat food, limited litter, treats, small animal food and occasionally prescription (RX) diets. Our inventory changes every time we open and depends entirely on community donations.

Important Information
• Supplies are limited. If we run out of food, we may need to close the line early.
• This is a donation-based pet food bank. We are incredibly grateful for every donation we receive, but because of that, we cannot guarantee specific brands, proteins, formulas, or specialty diets. While we do our best to accommodate dietary needs when possible, we are not able to fulfill individual requests such as grain-free, limited ingredient, specific proteins, probiotics, or other specialized formulas unless they have been donated.
• We also cannot guarantee when our next food bank will be held.
• Food is distributed based on the number of pets in your household.
• Some items, such as toys, treats, litter boxes, and other supplies, may be available for free browsing while supplies last.
• Please take only what you need so we can continue helping as many families as possible.

Additional Guidelines
• Please do not block or park in front of neighboring businesses.
You may need to park nearby and walk. Thank you for being respectful of our neighbors.
• Check-in is required and includes your name, city, number of pets in your household, and spay/neuter status.
• Visits are limited to once every 30 days.
• You may pick up for your household and one additional household only.
• Please bring a bag to carry your items.
• Please be respectful to our volunteers, staff, and other families.

Our goal is to help keep pets fed and together with the people who love them. Thank you for understanding the limitations of a donation-based program and for helping us serve our community fairly and respectfully.

Bodie Update.
Overall it’s good news but no answers … we need to raise $550 to have a specialist run some more tests.
The first set of tests … urine analysis came back negative, which told us he didn’t have any kidney issues but the test showed he had a high PH.
From that information we sent away for another test, a urine culture and it came back negative…
Bodie continues to leak a small amount of p*e while resting in his kennel daily.
He can’t find his forever home until we figure out why this is happening.
Our next step is to get an abdominal ultrasound with a specialist to evaluate for any structural abnormalities in his bladder and urinary tract. We need to raise the $550 to make this happen.
Bodie is still the happiest dog, loves cuddles, eating and drinking like normal and is officially a healthy weight. He’s such a good boy and I hope we can fix this odd issue soon.

Bodie Update.
Earlier this week Bodie had an accident in his kennel while sleeping , and it happened again the next day.
We had a vet appointment to check for a UTI ( which are rare for male dogs) if it’s a UTI it will be an easy fix if not … more tests before he can find his forever home.
More Updates soon
