Almond Area Food Pantry

Thursday we had a very busy day. I think it is a record for how many families were served -- TEN! We also received a shipment around all these people stopping by. If you need any boxes, I have a few nice ones that didn't get broken down to recycle. If you want them, please stop by and get them before Friday. The boxes are on the porch and that door is never locked.

We have more than 40 banana boxes on our porch right now. Please come and help yourself. They are great for breaking down and putting under mulch, moving, storing, etc. Take a few, or take them all!

Thank you to the person who stopped by and picked up all the banana boxes we had on our porch! There will be some more later this week if anyone else needs some.

The month of March we served 40 households. We also had a February visit from some AACS students in the ACE Community Engaged Learning class as they learned about our food pantry. As a result, the school has opened a food pantry for students.
